Who Are We?
The Judean Plain Tourism Association is happy to invite you, the travelers, to visit us in our part of the country, and enjoy its beauty and all the good it has to offer.
From Tel Gezer in the north to Lachish in the south, wherever you turn and whereever you look, you will see the land of the Bible.
You will encounter pieces of history and take hikes that cross the paths where convoys travelled during ancient times in an area that knew prosperity.
Here you will also find heritage sites, museums and exhibits from the time of the establishment of the State through the Israeli wars up to the revival and aliyah to the land of Israel.
The Judean Lowlands is a green area with an abundance of agricultural attractions, such as dairies, cowsheds, wineries and breweries.
With the arrival of spring the area is covered in the bloom of colorful carpets of anemones, tulips and lupines.
In the summer it is dominated by the green of the KKL-JNF forests – from the Hulda Forest, to Britannia Park, the Haruvit (Carob) Forest and the Melachim (Angels) Forest. Thousands of acres of forests with many rest stops and art exhibits in nature.
With the arrival of the green autumn the region’s distinctive landscape is adorned by lush agriculture and in the winter the panoramic vistas are breathtaking.
If you desire a high quality meal or a pampering spa experience, you can enjoy a meal in one of the chef restaurants that are spread out all over the area and enjoy a massage at one of the spas situated in the Association’s area.
We welcome you to spend time in our area and discover a wonderful country right on your doorstep.
